Description
The Sunelexe 40 Thrust Electric Outboard Motor is hydro-dynamically designed with a weedless-wedge propeller with a high performance blade geography. It has a flexible and high strength fibreglass composite shaft.
The Series F has a 40lb (18.14kg) thrust, a telescopic handle OK for sat water (see maintenance instructions) with a top speed of 4 MPH and a maximum boat size of 16 feet.
Trolling motors are small and quiet and have the advantage of not scaring the fish away like some large petrol engines.
Another feature is the top of the motor has an LED Battery indicator which shows the battery strength and lets you know when your battery needs charging.
Salt Water Maintenance:
At the end of the day wipe the motor down with a cloth soaked in warm water and then rinse the unit with a light spray with the hose.
Make sure the propeller is free of any line or weed, regualrly check all nuts and bolts and lubricate all moving parts with an aerosol lubricant.
Clean battery terminals regularly and check for frayed wires or loose connections.
