You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Faulty, damaged or not fit for purpose goods purchased on sydneykayakcentre.com.au are covered by manufacturer warranties. Warranty periods and conditions differ between brands and products.<\/p>\n
For our Canoe & Kayak Sports branded products we provide\u00a0warranty against defects in workmanship and materials to the original owner for five years from date of purchase\u00a0of the product under normal use.\u00a0This warranty does not include damage due to improper use or care, accident, or negligence. This warranty also excludes normal wear and tear and material breakdown due to age, use, or environmental conditions. Canoe & Kayak Sports\u00a0liability for warranty claims will be limited to repair, exchange, replacement, or credit of the purchase price. This\u00a0warranty does not cover damage to items stored in, or used in conjunction with our products. Other than as required by Australian Consumer Law\u00a0Canoe & Kayak Sports\u00a0will not, under any circumstances, be liable for any direct, indirect, special or consequential damages resulting from a warranty claim, and in no event will Canoe & Kayak Sports\u00a0aggregate liability exceed the price paid for the product.<\/p>\n
Warranty claims can be initiated\u00a0in person in our store, or by calling or emailing. The invoice number for the purchase and description of the fault, including photographs should be included.<\/p>\n
Subject to assessment, we will repair, replace, exchange or refund the item up to the original purchased dollar value as required under Australian Consumer Law. Please allow 1-2 weeks for the warranty return to be processed following receipt of eligible items and 3-5 business days for any credit due to be posted to the original payment method once the refund is processed. Assessment requiring consultation with the manufacturer can take additional time, please bear with us.<\/p>\n
Depending on assessment of your claim it may be necessary to return the original item to our store address. We do not cover or refund any cost incurred in the return of the item, and are not liable for any loss in transit.<\/p>\n
